Counter Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:
- Always represent the Company in a professional, helpful and friendly manner
- Assist customers with product inquiries and sales
- Meet weekly sales & productivity objectives
- Sell additional products through suggestive selling
- Pitch monthly sales promotions
- Capture all necessary information to support or direct mail efforts
- Assist in inventory control and prevent shrinkage
- Maintain store cleanliness and order
- Advise when stock is in low supply
- Learn product line
- Attend product training sessions
- Project professional image and enthusiastic floor presence
- Cooperate with management and coworkers
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
- Communicate accurate information
- Strive to increase personal productivity
- Respond immediately to customer requests / messages
- Provide flexibility on shift hours, lunch schedule and overtime requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Consumer sales experience in a retail environment
- Automotive Experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of 4-Wheel/Off Road Product is a must
- Type 45 wpm

Summary: Automotive Shop Technician in a high volume service center. Dealing with customers, preparing job
estimates, and performing service work.
Essential Functions:
- Perform all repairs and services;
- Participates in the repair and reconditioning of automobiles and trucks;
- Participates in assembling and repairing cars and trucks;
- Maintains accurate work records;
- Uses the computer based Equipment Management Information System to record work order information and access to other information;
- Performs inspections of completed repairs to ensure thorough and quality of repair and suitability of vehicle for return to service;
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work
- processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service;
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Methods, materials, equipment and operation of general automotive and mechanical repair shops;
- Motorized equipment repair, maintenance and testing;
- The characteristics and maintenance needs of a wide variety of automotive products & equipment;
- Safety practices and principles;
- General trades techniques, materials and practices of trades that are related to automotive and mechanical repair work;
- EPA and ADEQ regulations for spill containment and disposal of petroleum products used in a shop environment;
Required Skills:
- Motorized equipment repair, maintenance and testing;
- Proficiency with Hunter alignment machine;
Required Abilities:
- Lift 50 pounds or more;
- Perform a broad range of automotive repairs;
- Organize assignments to meet work requirements;
- Read and interpret system reports to aid in management of shop and performance of assigned duties;
- Communicate orally in person in a one-to-one or group setting;
- Read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets for chemicals used in the work environment and
communicate to co-workers the precautions needed for safe handling of chemicals;
- Enter data or information into a terminal, PC, or other keyboard device;
- Work cooperatively with other company employees;
- Work safely without presenting a direct threat to incumbent or others;
- This is strenuous work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching and lifting;
NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TOOLS
Acceptable training and experience:
Three years of experience in the maintenance and repair of automotive and mechanical equipment as an automotive mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic or equipment repair specialist. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. ASE Certified a plus.

Summary
4Wheel Drive Hardware (4WD) is the leading mail order and internet distributor of Jeep parts and accessories. Employees are responsible to generate and grow sales on in-bound calls by applying automotive knowledge and sales skills to each customer inquiry.
Responsibilities
• Sells Jeep products and accessories as appropriate on each inbound phone contact looking for and making opportunities to increase sales.
• Answers automotive technical questions from customers and looks for opportunities to sell company products.
• Works to achieve and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales quotas as outlined in the company standards.
• High volume of computer work for order processing and tracking.
• Maintains a satisfactory work performance level as outlined in the company standards and adheres to Company policies as outlined in the Associate Handbook
• Follows up on customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction
• Work environment is a competitive, sales oriented, fast paced call center.
• Perform other duties as required by 4Wheel Drive Hardware.

Education and Experience

• Prefer High School graduate or equivalent with one to two years experience in a sales related, customer service or call center background.
