Lift Shield Warranty Plan
4 Wheel Parts, 4Wheel Drive Hardware and Performance 4 Trucks will sell lift kits protected by a groundbreaking new warranty program developed by equipment manufacturer Pro Comp. Pro Comp’s Lift Shield plan offers supplementary protection for the powertrain of new vehicles if customers follow three basic requirements – the customer must purchase a qualifying lift kit; the customer must have that lift kit installed by a participating service center; the customer must register the lift kit purchase with Pro Comp. Lift Shield is offered free with select lift kit packages.
Lift Shield covers up to five years or 60,000 miles of a vehicle’s dealer warranty, and only covers the cost of repairs to the vehicle’s drivetrain if the dealer will not cover the costs of those repairs through the factory warranty. The warranty will cover the cost of parts and labor for repairs to the powertrain only after the dealer denies coverage of those costs under the factory warranty.
Pro Comp kits featuring the Lift Shield warranty plan are available for Ford, Dodge, Chevy, Jeep, Toyota, and Nissan vehicles. For more information about the Lift Shield warranty, and for a comprehensive list of qualifying Pro Comp lift kits, please visit ProCompUSA.com/liftshield.
4 Wheel Parts Organizes Cruise Donation Event for Colorado Wildfire Victims
In response to the devastating wildfires that were ravaging Waldo Canyon in Colorado, Sean Lockwood, assistant manager of the 4 Wheel Parts store in Westminster, Colo., created a donation drive to assist victims and evacuees. To deliver the donations, including food, water, money, and pet supplies, Lockwood then organized the Cool Rides Cruise. On June 30, dozens of cool, custom off-road vehicles packed with donations embarked on the 86-mile trip from Westminster to Colorado Springs, traversing the tough terrain.
As cruise volunteers arrived at the north end of Colorado Springs, they could see and smell the smoke from the wildfires. The caravan of custom Jeeps, Ford trucks, Chevy trucks, and SUVs, pressed on to the evacuation center. Initially, the Red Cross couldn’t accept the donated items, but Salvation Army representatives were able to take the food and water, while participants finished the delivery by taking donated pet supplies to the Colorado Springs Humane Society.
Causing more than $450 million in damage, the Waldo Fire destroyed 346 homes and took several lives. The Cool Rides Cruise event received more than 100 individual donations, and 4 Wheel Parts would like to thank everyone who donated and participated in the cruise to assist the Colorado wildfire victims.
