4 WHEEL PARTS NATIONAL STORE RENOVATION INITIATIVE CONTINUES
For Immediate Release
Compton, California (July 16, 2015) – Transamerican Auto Parts (TAP) retail subsidiary, 4 Wheel Parts, the global leader in off-road performance product sales and installation, will hold multiple Grand Reopening events this Saturday, July 18 in Houston, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada, as 4 Wheel Parts continues its national store renovation initiative.
The reopening celebrations will feature vehicles and premium aftermarket products on display, exclusive discounts, and hourly giveaways while attendees have the opportunity to win prizes including $500 shopping sprees at each location. Both Houston retail stores have received major renovations while the Las Vegas store was completely relocated before receiving the signature look that has become the standard for renovated 4 Wheel Parts stores. All three locations are now ready to re-join the ever-growing lineup of 70 4 Wheel Parts stores throughout North America.
“It’s exciting to be launching three events simultaneously in Houston and Las Vegas,” said 4 Wheel Parts Director of Retail Operations, Sam Cervantes. “With live radio broadcasts on-site, live bands at the Houston location and great food for everyone, there is an electric atmosphere at the stores. We have put a great deal of hard work and investment into these locations and now this is a fantastic opportunity for people to come on down, check out the stores and pick something up for their truck or Jeep. ”The free, family-friendly events offer plenty of activities for off-road enthusiasts including product displays from the industry’s leading manufacturers including MHT Wheels, Fab Fours, N-Fab and Skyjacker Suspension. ASE-certified technicians will be onsite performing installations with exclusive pricing on select parts purchased at the Grand Reopenings.
In conjunction with the Las Vegas retail store celebration, attendees will have the unique opportunity to watch the 4 Wheel Parts’ Ironman 4 Competition, featuring the top off-road industry technicians as they compete head-to-head in multiple challenges.
“This is the fourth year of 4 Wheel Parts’ Ironman Competition and the competition gets better and more intense each year,” said Mark Allen, 4 Wheel Parts Director of Service Operations. “Over the last few months we have narrowed the competitors from 300 down to just six of the best technicians in the off-road industry. Now they’re going to compete in a Jeep build-off that will include bumpers, suspension lift and tires and wheels to determine who the best 4 Wheel Parts technician really is.”
Having recently doubled the size and capacity of its distribution center in Coppell, Texas, 4 Wheel Parts’ parent company Transamerican Auto Parts (TAP), has also recently unveiled plans to open a new warehouse distribution center in the Pacific Northwest as part of its expansion initiative. The 75,000 sq. ft. Post Falls, Idaho location will increase supply and inventory levels at retail stores in western Canada and the Pacific Northwest while the two newly re-opened Texas locations will continue to be served by TAP’s Coppell distribution center.

4 WHEEL PARTS TITLE SPONSOR OF ULTRA4 GRAND PRIX AT LEGENDARY GLEN HELEN RACEWAY
Ultra4 Racing and Team 4 Wheel Parts are returning to Southern California this weekend with the 5th annual 4 Wheel Parts Glen Helen Grand Prix. The legendary off-road facility carved into the hills of San Bernardino welcomes Greg Adler, Brent Goegebuer and the more than 100 Ultra4 cars expected to compete in this second event in the 2015 Ultra4 Trail-Gear Western Regional Series July 10-11.
Glen Helen Raceway will once again be the epicenter of off-road racing as the top competitors in Ultra4 Racing vie for a $10,000 purse while honing their skills for the 2016 King of The Hammers. The 4 Wheel Parts Grand Prix, represents the series’ final visit to Southern California for the year and while many of the competitors will be racing to earn a coveted spot in the Hammers event as well as points toward the Nitto National Championship, Adler and Goegebuer will be looking to represent the 4 Wheel Parts organization in the company’s title event. With the Glen Helen facilities’ unique hillside landscape affording onlookers the opportunity to spectate from a variety of vantage points, the grand prix style event is a favorite for racers and fans alike.
“Along with the short course off-road track, Glen Helen’s famed motocross and Enduro tracks combine to make a fun but demanding course,” said Adler. “We know we have a solid car and can run a fast pace. The challenge is going to be finding the balance between running flat out and preserving the car while battling for the lead with more than 40 cars on the track at a time.”
For Goegebuer, Glen Helen affords him the opportunity to represent 4 Wheel Parts in the company’s signature Ultra4 event while continuing to dial in his new for 2015 Ultra4 machine.
“We’re hoping we got the bugs out with the first two events of the season,” he said. “Now we’ve had the opportunity to make some adjustments to the car and we feel that we have a solid package. This should be a good test for us this weekend.”
The two day format begins with qualifying sessions on Friday afternoon to determine Saturday Morning preliminary starting position with racing kicking off at noon on Saturday.
Ultra4 weekend passes are available for $20. The Glen Helen facility offers no-charge dry camping for spectators with the purchase of a weekend pass. Saturday’s action packed day of racing features UTV, Legends, Stock and Modified 4 wheel drive vehicles in addition to the marquee Ultra4 division.

Whatever your adventure, make the journey as exciting as the destination. Get outside. Explore, unplug, play in the dirt and go further. Because Life is Better Off-Road. ™
