Transamerican Auto Parts Purchases Rubicon Express
Transamerican Auto Parts has purchased Rubicon Express, an innovative off-road suspension manufacturer with a loyal following among Jeep owners.
Transamerican President and CEO Greg Adler explains, “This acquisition is a perfect fit for Transamerican.” He continues, “Jeep enthusiasts have come to know Rubicon Express as the ultimate system for their vehicles. Our 4Wheel Parts stores and our 4Wheel Drive Hardware business serve these enthusiasts, and the Rubicon brand will strengthen this core segment. Our 25 years of experience in suspension manufacturing at Pro Comp will help in the integration of the Rubicon business.”
The Rubicon Express transaction was announced in May, 2011, and Transamerican quickly began honoring warranty requests. In August, 2011, Rubicon Express products and replacement parts were re-launched to the marketplace. Transamerican is working closely with the Rubicon team to maintain the same manufacturing processes and to protect the integrity and quality of the Rubicon Express brand.
Rubicon Express was established in the 1990s by Jeep owners who set out to make tougher, better performing suspension parts for extreme off-road applications. Trail-tested Rubicon Express products are now recognized within the off-road community for their quality, durability, and performance.
